Dealers who would like to offer nitrogen for their customers’ tires now have a portable option.
The TireSaver TS018-Wand is a lightweight nitrogen tire inflator that connects to an existing compressed air line. As air moves through the device, a replaceable cartridge supplies the nitrogen. According to the wand’s maker, Parker Hannifin Corp., one cartridge can inflate more than 5,000 tires with nitrogen, or top off more than 25,000 nitrogen-filled tires.
Parker Hannifin says the TireSaver TS018-Wand nitrogen tire inflator will “revolutionize nitrogen tire filling.” The company says dealers benefit from a minimal investment cost, high profit margins and a high sales potential. The wand’s street price is $998. Replacement cartridges cost $599.
The company believes the wand will improve the availability of nitrogen for tire filling, allowing more consumers to realize the benefits of proper tire inflation.
