OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Country signer Toby Keith has taken co-ownership of Oklahoma City-based Brass Balls Cycles, and will announce it publicly Aug. 6 during a concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Keith joins Dar Holdsworth as partners in the custom bike and production company, according to a blog posted Aug. 1 by Brass Balls Cycles (aka Darwin Motorcycles).
"The partnership will be publicly announced Aug. 6 as Keith returns to headline the legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip Motorcycle Rally," the blog stated. Brass Balls Cycles will be featured in a bike buildoff being filmed this week for CMT, it added.
Keith, an international music star, adds a high-profile cache to the brand built by award-winning bike builder Holdsworth. "This partnership will help Brass Balls Cycles increase its U.S. market presence as well as expand the brand internationally," Holdsworth said. "We will be revealing new and revised models in the near future."
Brass Balls Cycles specializes in Bobbers, choppers and sport cruisers featuring S&S engines.
