Todd's Cycle Nails Top Honor in Metzeler Sturgis Show

DOZENS OF RADICAL customs taking the stage at the 6th Annual Sturgis Metzeler Custom Bike Contest, with the best of show award going to Todd Silicato of Todd's Cycle in Huntington Beach, Calif.

Silicato's win earned him inclusion in the Metzeler Master Builder poster series and 2009 Metzeler Ad Campaign, a three-day apprenticeship with Eddie Trotta, feature Article in American Iron Magazine, a trip to Faakersee European Bike Week and tour of the Metzeler Factory, a seat at the Annual Round table in Cincinnati at the V-Twin Expo, four sets of Metzeler Tires, a cool trophy, All Balls Starter, S&S Shop Shirt, and a Boyesen Power X Wing.

Donna Keller and her bike built by Michael Ballew of Ballew's South Central Customs won the people's choice award. She won two sets of Metzeler Tires, a trophy, an All Balls Starter, an S&S Shop Shirt, and a Boyesen Power X Wing. Runner up in People's Choice was Ed Hines of Lake Placid, Fla., going home with a set of Metzeler Tires and his own magnificent trophy.
