SHEDDING SPRINGS WITH A SMILE

Race Tech has a new tool that allows techs to remove shock springs with just a 19 mm wrench. The TSSC Shock Spring Compressor comes with four adapters — 60 mm, 66 mm, 72 mm and 75 mm — for differently sized spring collars. It also has both an eyelet and clevis adapter. Suggested retail is $324.99.

SOMETHING FOR THE WASH BAY

CleanTools has added a third size to its line of drying cloths for painted surfaces. The Absorber XL measures 29 inches by 18 inches and retails for $18.99. It's made out of poly vinyl alcohol, whose "uniform pore structure" reportedly leads to its "super drying capacity" without leaving streaks. The towel is machine-washable and comes with a carrying case.

SMALL BUT BRIGHT

LED WorkLight claims its pocket-sized LED pen light performs as well as a full-sized incandescent flashlight. The 6-inch-long Maxxeon WorkStar 220 reportedly produces more than 70 lumens. It has a black-anodized T6 aluminum body with an on-off switch on the tail cap. It weighs less than 2 ounces and can be clipped into a shirt pocket. MSRP is $29.99 (batteries included).
