Perfect angle every time

Snap-on’s latest 3/8-inch ratchet (FHNF100) has a round head that swivels to reach difficult-to-reach fasteners. A 100-tooth gear requires just 3.6 degrees of swing arc to engage in the next tooth in tight quarters. The swivel head’s variety of ratcheting positions includes straight-on for use as a ratcheting nut driver. An adjustable detent allows users to tighten or loosen the swivel. MSRP is $118.

New jaw designs for Vise-Grips

Irwin Tools has added straight and smooth jaw designs to its line of Vise-Grip GrooveLock Pliers. Both feature the brand’s trademark press-and-slide button, which Irwin claims adjusts the lower jaw two times faster than any other adjustable tongue-and-groove pliers. Users press the button, slide the jaw into position, and release. Jaw capacity sizes range from 1-1/8 inches to 6 inches. Retail prices of the 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-inch pliers range from $10.99 to $19.99. The 16-inch pliers retail for $34.99, the 20-inch for $44.99.
