Tucker Rocky Show: Speed and Strength unveils trend-setting gear

FORT WORTH, Texas - Speed and Strength is previewing its 2013 Rage With the Machine collection this weekend at Tucker Rocky's annual dealer show in downtown Fort Worth. Dealers will begin retailing the collection in August.

The collection includes a large number of fashionable gear items for women and men.

The Rage With the Machine textile/leather jacket ($199.95 retail) that zips down into a vest via removable sleeves. Features: a water-resistant AR-600 frame with leather trim, removable CE-approved shoulder and elbow protectors, a removable dual-density spine protector, a low-restriction collar, Lockdown waist adjusters, belt loops for pant attachment, and reflective trim.

The women’s MotoLisa textile/leather jacket ($199.95) with 3D embroidery. Features: a water-resistant AR-600 frame with leather trim, removable CE-approved shoulder and elbow protectors, a removable dual-density spine protector, Speed Zip controlled ventilation, a removable full-sleeve insulated liner, belt loops for pant attachment, a microfiber-lined collar and cuffs, ornate engraved belt buckles, and reflective trim.

Two new colorways (red and white) for the Run With the Bulls moto shoes ($89.95). Features: perforated leather and textile upper, external PU protectors, an anti-slip rubber outsole, toe and ankle reinforcements, the brand’s Under Cover lacing system, and molded ankle protectors.

All-new women’s MotoLisa riding boots ($139.95). Features: a leather upper; molded toe, ankle and shin reinforcements, an anti-slip rubber outsole, an elastic stretch panel, and ornate buckles.

Rage With the Machine armored jeans ($129.95, shown) featuring 12-ounce pre-distressed denim, a Kevlar-reinforced knee and seat, removable CE-approved knee armor, articulated knee panels with stretch panels, leather trim, a relaxed fit and a boot cut. Also available: men’s Run With the Bulls and women’s MotoLisa Kevlar-reinforced jeans both retailing for $99.95.

 

 

In addition, Speed and Strength says it has “completely revamped” its glove lineup with six new styles for men and three new styles for women. Most exciting is perhaps the Rage With the Machine glove with Speed Dial Touch Screen Technology (compatible with all touch-screen devices). It retails for $89.95.

Speed and Strength claims to be the fastest-growing helmet brand in the country. For 2013, the company adds four new shells with a total of 17 new colorways and styles. The additions are as follows:

SS2500 tri-composite fiberglass SMX helmet, featuring the Lunatic Fringe and Hell'n Back models retailing for $199.95.

SS1700 Lock and Load single flip-up helmet ($199.95).

SS1300 advanced thermo-poly alloy shell featuring the Rage With the Machine ($169.95) and Under the Radar ($149.95) models.

SS1100 advanced thermo-poly alloy shell featuring the Moto Mercenary and Flower Power models (both $129.95).

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, Speed and Strength is launching the Strip Search drag suit, a new race-ready two-piece leather suit inspired by nine-time drag racing world champ Rickey Gadson. MSRP is $599.95, and the suit comes in white or black.
