Tumsuden named digital content specialist for Advanstar's Powersports Group

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - Oliver Tumsuden, former marketing manager at Moto911, has joined Advanstar's Powersports Group as a digital content specialist. He will be based in the company's Santa Monica headquarters.

Tumsuden will develop and distribute online marketing content for all powersports properties; however, his immediate focus will be on the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows business, said James Harter, marketing director.

"His immediate projects will involve rolling out outbound email communications, website content and social media efforts," Harter said. "He will serve as the point person with all our teams to ensure content is correct, timely and effectively leveraged through all our appropriate digital channels."

The new website for the 13-city motorcycle shows tour, www.motorcycleshows.com, launches this week.

As marketing manager for Moto911, Tumsuden managed digital and print communication, digital media campaigns, and web and social media efforts. His tenure in the powersports industry also includes sales manager and specialist roles for multiline dealerships. In 2011 Tumsuden raced Amateur Formula Twins in the CVMA Series.

Advanstar is the parent company of Dealer Expo and Dealernews, in addition to the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows.
