SANTA ANA, Calif. - The new Silver Series line of exhausts from Two Brothers Racing features carbon fiber highlighted by a natural finished aluminum inlet and outlet. Its new badge design and black Teflon-coated magnesium end cap (a carbon fiber endcap is optional) give the Silver Series a clean, polished look.
The Silver Series is also available in aluminum finish.
All of the carbon parts are made of high-temperature, aerospace-grade epoxy resin, according to the company. The carbon fabric is made with a 33 million modulus carbon tow and impregnated with high-temp resin under tight tolerances to ensure the fabric is impregnated with the resin content "with exactness," the company notes.
The product is then placed in an autoclave under full vacuum with 100-plus psi applied to allow the cure; this consolidates and removes volatiles from the material along with any air that's trapped in the laminate.
The Silver Series will be offered on select models in limited quantities, according to Two Brothers.
