IRMO, S.C. — A used motorcycle dealer is awaiting a bail hearing after being charged Dec. 13 with operating a business without a retail sales license.
John David Frye II’s retail license was revoked in September for failing to pay state sales tax, according to the Department of Revenue. The owner of Gotham City Cycles is accused of continuing to operate his business without the license, according to The State.
Frye, 45, faces up to 30 days in jail and a $200 fine if he’s convicted.
