Southern California-based Two Brothers Racing has found a way to eek out additional horsepower and torque from the 2012 Yamaha FZ6R. The company’s V.A..L.E. 4-2-1 complete race exhaust system provides a 5.3hp increase at 9400 RPM, along with a peak increase of 3.8hp. Two Brothers also says that its system bumps up torque about 4.2 ft.-lbs. in the midrange and 2.8 ft.-lbs. at the peak of the torque curve. The full system is 10 lbs. lighter than stock.

The system features stainless steel headpipes, along with either a carbon fiber, titanium or aluminum M2 exhaust canister. A bonus: the system also is compatible with the 2009 to 2011 FZ6. MSRP starts at $1,039.98.
