V.I.O.’s newest offering is the POV.HD, a point-of-view video camera system that lets riders film up to five hours of crystal-clear footage in high definition.
“The POV.HD not only delivers advanced HD video, but also provides a host of unique recording and exposure options designed for the discriminating video enthusiast,” says marketing director Clint Slack in a news release.
Features include: a two-inch LCD screen to view and edit footage, a Texas Instruments video processor, and a wearable camera head weighing in at 2 ounces, that captures 142-degree FOV at 1080p 30fps, which the company says is the widest point-of-view camera angle available on the market. The POV.HD is IP67-certified for durability, and can be used in extreme temperatures.
