SAN ANTONIO, Texas - VP Racing Fuels has produced a "Special Edition Pink Motorsports Container" in recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The company will donate a portion of the sale proceeds to a cancer nonprofit organization.

The company's five-gallon containers are available in nine colors. "VP's new pink container provides yet another distinctive color option, along with the opportunity to support breast cancer awareness," the company said.

"WIth each sale of a pink container during October, VP will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Prevent Cancer Foundation in support of its cancer prevention research, education and community outreach programs," the company announced. "The pink containers will only be produced in a limited quantity run, so the offer is available during October or while supplies last."

For every pink container sold during October, VP Racing Fuels will donate $5 to the nonprofit, according to Steve Scheidker, director of marketing.

“Many of us have friends and family members who have dealt with breast cancer,” said Alan Cerwick, president of VP Racing Fuels. “We enthusiastically support the efforts of the Prevent Cancer Foundation and hope in some small way our pink “Special Edition” Motorsport Containers can help increase awareness and advance successful treatments for this terrible disease.”
