SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Winterfest of Wheels and Cure Kids Cancer has another $2,277 toward cancer research as a result of a partnership with J&L Harley-Davidson that raised extra money for the charity.
For the second year, J&L partnered with the Winterfest of Wheels to sell discounted tickets at the dealership. Tickets were sold for $8 at J&L Harley-Davidson or $9 at the event door. For every ticket purchased through J&L Harley-Davidson, the dealer donated an additional $2 to Cure Kids Cancer.
J&L Harley-Davidson, a 2013 Top 100 Dealer, sold 227 tickets, allowing the dealership to write a check to the charities.
“J&L Harley-Davidson is proud to have been involved with Winterfest of Wheels since its launch in 2009. It is a great event that has exceptional attendance with all of the proceeds benefitting a worthwhile organization, Cure Kids Cancer,” said Joe Entenman, vice president of retail operations at J&L Harley-Davidson.
