Womens motorcycle gear website gets a facelift

Visitors to GearChic.com, an online resource about protective motorcycle gear for women, can expect to see an improved layout and streamlined design as a result of a site upgrade.

The site features gear reviews, a Gear Directory (manufacturers, retailers, accessories), 'Gear 101' shopping tips, an online discussion forum and more.

Site owner Joanne Donn founded the site to help women find gear that’s protective as well as stylish. The site can help riders understand proper fit and how to prioritize the safety aspects of their gear.

Enthusiast Donn works as an office administrator for a design firm on weekdays. In addition to founding and running GearChic.com she works part time as an MSF RiderCoach and at Scuderia West, a KTM/Aprilia/Kymco/Victory/Brammo dealer in San Francisco. She has also traveled with the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows for the last two seasons, working in the 'Women Ride' feature.
