BOISE, Idaho - Western Power Sports (WPS) has added HeliBars’ line of replacement handlebars and handlebar risers to its growing portfolio of products.

Heli Modified — HeliBars’ parent company — president Harry Eddy says the distribution deal will help dealers become more familiar with the company’s product line. He noted that he’s looking forward to the pieces being represented by a team of 100 WPS road reps and a dozen inside sales professionals. The partnership comes on the back of two years of increasing production capabilities and improving processes.

HeliBars' complete line covers more than 70 models of Japanese, European and American motorcycles: sportbikes, sport tourers, touring bikes and cruisers. Its Horizon, TracStar and Tour Performance products come in one-piece and multi-axis adjustable versions. All preserve a bike's looks and handling — on everything from back roads and daily commutes to track days and cross-country excursions.

The bars are made to improve rider comfort and ergonomics by raising handlebars up to 2.5 in. over stock, and are up to 4.5 in. closer to riders, depending on the bike brand and model. The bars are backed by a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee via the company’s 30-day return policy, and have a one-year warranty.

New Heli comfort systems are being introduced for seven bikes this year. They include the BMW K1600GTL, Honda CBR250R and Gold Wing, Kawasaki ZX-14 and ZX-10R, and the Yamaha FJR1300 and R6.
