A family that closed its Clackamas, Ore., powersports store after 30 years is back in business across town.
The McVeigh family has opened Yamaha Sports Plaza in Clackamas. The store sells used motorcycles, bike parts and accessories as well as servicing Japanese bikes.
"We're selling toys," VP Justin McVeigh told the Oregonian. "We're selling fun."
The new shop is the family's second Sports Plaza. The other is in Gresham.
"A lot of other shops are run like car dealerships," McVeigh says. "We're smaller, with a family feel."
