Zepka Harley-Davidson hosts Aug. 10 fundraiser for biomedical research

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - Zepka Harley-Davidson and the Johnstown Harley Owners Group will host the seventh annual motorcycle show and dice run fundraiser Aug. 10.



Participants in both events will gather at Zepka’s motorcycle shop in Richland Township.

 Registration for the bike show starts at 11 a.m. and will have prize awards in 12 classes. Winners will be announced at about 2 p.m.

 The competition is open to all makes and models of motorcycles.



For a third year, the ride, in the form of a dice run, will benefit Windber Research Institute. 



Registration for the ride, which will leave Zepka’s at 3 p.m., will be held throughout the day. 

Cost is $10 per participant – rider or passenger.
 
The person who brings the most people to register for the ride will receive a $100 gift certificate for Zepka merchandise. 

Each person registering for the fundraiser, whether or not they ride, will receive a T-shirt and will be entitled to toss the dice. 

Pizza and soda will be served at the Windber facility at the conclusion of the ride.





Prizes and awards for the bike show and ride will have a total value of $1,000.
