JANESVILLE, Wis. - With the help of apparel and accessories company Trukke, Arctiva has announced the release of new boots and socks for riders.
The Mechanized 12-inch-tall boot by Trukke features a moisture-wicking, removable Thinsulate liner with a layer of fleece for comfort. Also for comfort include a full-length interal EVA mid-sole, as well as a ratchet buckle system for a snug fit. There’s also a “speed-lacing” system, as well as a grip-tread sole for traction in snow. Sizes range from men’s 6 to 13. MSRP is $180, with replacement liners priced at $50.
The Arctiva by Trukke Comp boot is a bit shorter than its Mechanized sibling, standing at 10 inches tall. It also features a Thinsulate removable liner, EVA mid-soles, speed-lacing and the ratchet buckle system. There is extra padding in the tongue for comfort in extended wear periods. Sizes range from men’s 6 to 13. MSRP is $175, with replacement liners priced at $50.
The Evaporator sock has padded shin inserts, while the Insulator sock (shown at right) is made for colder temperatures, constructed of Merino wool and with the padded shin inserts.
