NEW ORLEANS, La. - Kriega has introduced an updated version of its best-selling R25 backpack, designed to offer better mobility, weight distribution and durability for motorcyclists.
The suggested retail price is $189.
This new version is being called the 2014 R25, and it is equipped with the latest version of Kriega’s four-point QUADLOC harness, which helps distribute weight between the rider’s chest and lower back. The adjustable harness is intended to reduce shoulder strain and increase mobility of the arms and shoulders.
Another new feature of the upgraded R25 is an optional hydration system. The backpack has a storage area for Krieger’s military-spec 3-liter Hydrapak. Additional webbing loops on both sides of the R25 allow easy attachment of an additional pack to gain 10 liters of additional storage. By itself, the R25 stores 25 liters of gear, and it measures 20.5 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 6.3 inches deep.
