We believe two of the best ways to promote this are interaction with the customer by hosting rides, benefit days and by providing excellent customer service so the customer can enjoy and have fun with their purchase.
Showroom Design and Layout
We have 9,000 sq. ft. of hardwood floor, 5,500 sq. ft. of granite floor, 1,800 sq. ft. of slot wall, 370 sq. ft. wall of mirrors, a 20-ft. circular stage, two - 18 x 24 rectangular stages, six - 4 x 8 diamond plate displays, and four murals of vehicles in action. The parts counter is centrally located directly across from the main entrance. Oil, chemicals, and fast-moving parts are located next to the parts counter for easy customer assistance.
Garments and accessories are displayed so they are easily viewed from any location in the showroom. Current season garments and accessories are displayed in a prominent area to provide easy access and selection. We stock over 300 helmets, hundreds of winches, plows, windshields, cabs, exhausts, tires, and wheels. Our showroom includes lifestyle displays and kiosks to accommodate all manufacturers and product lines. We install accessories on showroom vehicles to motivate sales prospects and benefit accessory sales.
The service department is 4,600 sq. ft. with an epoxy floor, channel-cut floor drains, mega lighting, pallet racking, two automotive style lifts, and a 3,300 sq. ft. mezzanine for service storage in addition to all of the computers, tech lifts and specialty tools.
Training and Employee Motivation Practices
Sales, finance and insurance and parts employees attend manufacturer training days and routinely watch webcasts to improve their customer service and sale skills. Service techs attend training classes and maintain manufacturer technician requirements. Employees are required to maintain their training to the highest level. Sales parts and service personnel are motivated with an aggressive commission schedule. All employees who promote our customer service philosophy are rewarded with bonuses and free merchandise.
Commitment to Customer Service
Our customer service philosophy and goal is to treat our customers fairly, just like we would treat family. We want the customer to feel they can count on us to deliver quality products at reasonable prices with customer service that is no less than great. Our sales staff takes ample time to make sure the customer is fully educated on their purchase and how they count on our dealership in the future. The parts department employees will do whatever it take to find a solution for the customer, no matter what it entails. Our service department fully understands that service is what brings customers back to the dealership. Routinely they will schedule routine maintenance for a customer while they wait.
Involvement in the Community
Our community involvement philosophy is to help those in need through outdoor recreational fun. We contribute to the local public service departments and many private fundraisers for the various community events. We sponsor the Sandusky Valley Motorcycle Club and many amateur dirt bike riders.
This past summer we were a major sponsor of the Seneca County for Veterans American Veterans Traveling Tribute. This event involved many riders with the goal of raising funds towards a Veterans memorial in Seneca County. It was also a goal that this event would help educate the public regarding the Vietnam veterans and their strifes encountered while in combat along with their struggle when they returned home. The event was a major undertaking and it raised over $10,000 and also was attended by over 15,000 people who experienced the memorial wall and museum. It was an event they will not soon forget.
