Showroom Design and Layout
Deptford Honda Yamaha’s state-of-the-art showroom is one-of-a-kind. As you walk through our double glass doors, you will notice our signature DHY logo embedded into the custom black stone carpet. With 10,000 sq. ft. of showroom floors, we display over 150 of the latest vehicles in a variety of models and colors. Our wide selection of Honda, Yamaha, Victory, and Polaris vehicles include sport and utility ATVs, cruiser and touring motorcycles, scooters, power equipment and personal watercraft. Along with the vehicles that DHY has to offer, we also display a variety of power equipment products such as lawn mowers, generators, and snow blowers. For the customers’ entertainment, a 10’ x 20’ projection video screen constantly features extreme sports videos. A customer lounge featuring a 32’’ LCD television with complimentary literature and vending machines is accessible to all customers, as well as a coffee machine. DHY has over 5,000 sq. ft. to display parts and accessories accented with track lighting.
The parts department is complete with a 35’ marble-like counter with stainless steel fronts that contain four cashier stations equipped with flat screen monitors. The parts department also includes stainless steel shelving and floor to ceiling wall displays, stocked with thousands of different parts for your riding needs. Our dealership has a separate accessory department fully stocked with fresh and new styles, as well as some old time favorites. The department features custom displays of boots, goggles, gloves, apparel, and over 300 helmets on our helmet wall.
Deptford Honda Yamaha features a 7,000 sq. ft. service facility that services a number of major brands such as Suzuki and Kawasaki along with the Honda, Yamaha, Victory, and Polaris vehicles that we have on our showroom floor. The service department consists of four single bays and three double bays, each containing their own lift, bench, storage units and lube rails for oil and anti freeze. In addition, we have a large crane for lifting. With our machines, we are able to provide services such as cylinder boring, crankshaft rebuilding, valve replacement and much more.
Training and Employee Motivation Practices
The performance level and employee retention at Deptford Honda Yamaha have always been set at a high standard. With high performance and little employee turnover yields a greater overall performance for the dealership. Here at Deptford Honda Yamaha, we are always looking to improve our customer service.
Monthly meetings are held within each department at our dealership. During these monthly meetings, we are able to review what has worked well during the past month for the department and offer suggestions for any area that needs improvement. Employees are able to voice their concerns and opinions during these meetings -- each employee’s voice is heard at Deptford Honda Yamaha. Constant revision and training is essential to growing and moving forward in our overall performance at DHY, but maintaining a positive workplace is also important for the well-being of our employees. DHY employees are rewarded twice a year for their dedication and hard work with the annual summer canoe trip and the holiday bash in the winter. These events promote bonding within the staff and are events to look forward to after months of a job well done.

Involvement in the Community
Deptford Honda Yamaha believes community involvement is a top priority. By involving ourselves with the community we are building a brand with our locale and establishing a great reputation, all while participating in a great cause. We support countless benefits for families in need of assistance by contributing monetary and merchandise gift baskets. Notable charities we have contributed to include Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The Hero Foundation, Animal Adoption Center, Gloucester County Animal Shelters, Stand Up 2 Cancer and the American Cancer Society. Each year we raise thousands of dollars through food sales, raffles, and events for the charities above and for the past 16 years we have been a main donor to the Pediatric Brain Foundation. This year DHY sponsored a team, comprised of some staff and their families, for the 2012 City to Shore Ride which benefits the National MS Society. Deptford Honda Yamaha has and will continue to give to those who are less fortunate and contribute to the greater good.
