I believe we are on the cutting edge of service in that we have designed the parts and service departments to operate as one group.
We have one service/parts manager that leads this initiative. This keeps all the tension between departments away because they operate as one. Any of our front desk staff can write up a work order and get the parts dispatched to service. This also helps keep our service department busy because we always want to install the new merchandise you just purchased. This keeps us operating efficiently in all aspects of service.
