Ride Command is now available on the General 1000 EPS Ride Command Edition Black Pearl, and the Ride Command display will become an accessory for all General vehicles in the spring, Polaris stated. Ride Command launched last year on the RZR XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition and as an accessory select RZRs.

Ride Command enables riders to connect with other riders, providing centralized, seamless device control and integration with mobile phones, cameras and audio. It includes a mobile app and weather-resistant, glove-touch 7-inch display (shown, right) which serves as the central hub for GPS mapping, Bluetooth/AM/FM audio, controlling a GoPro camera and receiving texts. The display and app work together to allow riders to track other riders in their group, even if they’re not within sight. The app also enables riders to map routes in advance and share their ride to their social feed.

The new General Ride Command edition will feature several accessories, including front and rear cameras, and a MTX Premium eight-speaker audio system, Polaris noted.

New colors for 2017. Polaris also announced that the Ranger XP 900 EPS returns for 2017 in Silver Pearl and includes aluminum wheels and standard EPS. The Ranger 500 will be offered in Sage Green. Polaris RZR models now come in Titanium Metallic (for the S 900 EPS and 4 900 EPS models) and in Spectra Orange (for the S 1000 model). The RZR XP/XP4 1000 EPS come in White Lightning with Reflex Blue.

Sportsman models are available in Velocity Blue (for the 570), Matte Sagebrush Green (for the 570 SP) and Radar Blue (for the 850 SP).
