EAGLE, CO – The latest version of REVER, the motorcycle navigation and community app, offers new ride discovery, geo-location and community enhancements, and includes some capabilities for Dealers who want to interact with REVER riders.
Geo-location-based riding challenges can automatically give riders credit for visiting certain points of interest, including dealerships. Certain challenges unlock swag and special deals for map locations.
On the community side, the updated app allows users to see friends worldwide as they track rides in the app. Dealerships, along with users, events, clubs and brands, can create communities to share rides. REVER riders also can find Facebook friends and those on their email contact lists who use the app.
A redesigned ride feed prioritizes photos, and elevates comments and likes. The feed also includes information on featured communities and ride challenges.
New Ride Discovery feature include routes curated in partnership with Butler Maps, Roadrunner Magazine, Motorcyclist Magazine, Backcountry Discovery Routes, Remote Moto New Zealand, and Bigtrails Brazil. In addition, there’s a free library of route content, and a listing of road race tracks, motocross tracks and off-road trail systems, REVER announced.
Among the features are new Italian- and French-language capabilities. The app already supports German, Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to English.
The new version is available on the iOS platform; the Android version will be announced in a few weeks, REVER said.
