After some serious teething pains with the live streaming of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this season, Pro Motocross promoter MX Sports Pro Racing and broadcast partner MAVTV have decided to change the channel, figuratively speaking. Starting this weekend with the RedBud National, FloSports will be running the LIVE stream from the track.
What does this mean for Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship subscribers? Effective immediately, all MAVTV Plus live programming will become available on FloRacing, while still also being streamed on MAVTV Plus. Your current MAVTV Plus account will remain active until midnight on Tuesday, July 26. During this time, you will still have access to watch the RedBud National (July 2), Southwick National (July 9), Spring Creek National (July 16), and Washougal National (July 23) through the MAVTV Plus app.
“MX Sports Pro Racing and MAVTV are grateful for your patience regarding the MAVTV Plus streaming platform,” claims the official statement from MX Sports. “The goal of the service has always been to bring you the best motorsports streaming coverage possible, which is why MAVTV is thrilled to announce a new partnership to do just that.
“MAVTV has teamed up with FloSports for all LIVE event streaming of MAVTV Plus programming, notably the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. FloSports is an innovator in sports streaming and their dedicated motorsports channel, FloRacing, is an industry leading streaming service that features 2,000+ live racing events annually, combined with deep editorial coverage of the sport. We expect this partnership to deliver an elevated viewing experience of live motorsports programming for MAVTV Plus subscribers, along with a robust customer support team.
Starting on Wednesday, July 27, all live MAVTV Plus content will be streamed exclusively on FloRacing. In order to watch comprehensive live streaming coverage of the remaining rounds of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship after that day - the Unadilla National (August 13), Budds Creek National (August 20), Ironman National (August 27), and Fox Raceway II National (September 3) - you will need to sign up for a subscription to FloRacing.
MAVTV Plus content will be moving to a new home on a dedicated FloSports channel, called "MAVTV on FloRacing," that can be accessed through various FloSports apps or at FloRacing.com. FloSports is available on the iOS App Store, Google Play, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast, in addition to smart TVs including Vizio, Samsung and LG.
