“As part of our commitment to the sport and to our employee esprit de corps, we held a “Learn To Ride Day” for our NPA staff in San Diego last week that was a huge hit,” says National Powersports Auction CEO Jim Woodruff. “It was awesome seeing everyone go from nervous and excited in the beginning to feeling accomplished and being even more excited afterward.”
A total of 23 employees went through the “Intro to Motorcycling” course lead by two certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) coaches. This was set up in partnership with the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) with the goal of inspiring new riders and sharing our passion for motorcycling with our employees.
“Many thanks to Andria Yu and the MIC team for their support, as well as our team’s contacts at Honda for the training bikes used that day. I strongly encourage all MIC members to do something similar for their staff,” concludes Woodruff.
