Best In The Desert is breaking out the BlueWater Desert Challenge to beat the COVID cabin fever suffered by fans and racers alike. One of the few series to figure out a COVID protocol early on, BITD is presenting the final race in the 2020 American Off-Road Series on October 22-25 in Parker, AZ. See the next issue for an insider's view of what it takes to pull off a race in the midst of a pandemic and more importantly what racing means to the powersports industry.

Rounding out the Maxxis Triple Crown, there is a lot on the line. BITD's Desert American Off-Road Series Championship, the Adventure Championship and the 4 Wheel Parts Youth UTV Championships are all up for grabs... along with a pretty penny in payouts. With all the championship payouts combined, $600,000 worth of cash prizes will be awarded in 2020 to winning racers, along with hundreds of thousands more in contingency.

The BlueWater Desert Challenge will be a 23-mile-long loop course run over two days along the Colorado River, notoriously one of the most challenging, scenic and fun courses in the BITD series. The race is open to all classes: Cars, Trucks, UTVs, Motorcycles and Quads, but registration closes October 19, 2020.
