The CFMOTO dealer meeting last week was awesome. It was the first time I have been in a casino since SEMA/AIMExpo 2019 and more importantly, the first time many dealers had been to a show of any type since the pandemic started. The opportunity to hang out with old friends including John Stoddart (who is now running two stores in Minneapolis) and Steve St. John from Dreyer's South in Indy, as well as making new dealer friends, just can’t be done via Zoom calls.
Multiple times on the showfloor I had dealers stop and thank us for bringing Dealernews back. Even when I was incognito (at least not wearing my Dealernews shirt), dealers were wanting to talk about the magazine, NPDA and the state of the industry. Shades of the old Dealer Expo days in Cincy and Indy!
However, as the old saying goes, it is not me... it is you! From a AMA Hall Of Famer to two bonafide Ph.D.s we really do have the greatest team of advocates, industry leaders and educators in the history of powersports trade journals. Period. Full stop!
