It was impossible to miss SSR Motorsports at AIMExpo with the giant banner and massive pavilion dominating the entrance to the trade show, but the big news is that they have become the official importer for one of the world’s largest OEMs. As announced at the show, SSR Motorsports and Qianjiang Motorcycle (QJ) have entered an exclusive agreement to distribute QJmotor Motorcycles and Scooters in the United States.

“Although QJ has long produced products for many other brands, they are going to market with their own QJMotor line for the first time,” explains SSR GM Jeff Li. “The initial launch will happen in the 4th quarter of 2022 with a full line-up of 6 motorcycles and 2 scooters.” The motorcycles range from 300cc to 749cc.

SSR Motorsports showcased the 8 models at the AIMExpo in Las Vegas, including:
- SRV300 - Sport Cruiser
- SRK400 - Naked 400
- SRK400RR – Full Fairing Sportbike
- SRV550 – Scrambler
- SRK700 – Naked 700
- SRT750 – Adventure
- VPS50 & LTR150 Scooters

Qianjiang Motorcycle Company (QJ) was founded in 1985 and merged with the automotive group Geely in 2016. QJ specializes in R&D and manufacturing of motorcycles and scooters. It owns and manufactures several global brands including Benelli Motorcycles and now QJmotor. QJ manufactures more than 1.5 million motorcycles and scooters annually.

If you missed the pavilion at AIMExpo, SSR Motorsports has been marketing and distributing a wide range of pitbikes, dirtbikes, UTVs, scooters, e-bikes and street motorcycles since 2002, including the Benelli brand through its nationwide network of 380 dealerships. “Our goal has always been to provide quality products at an affordable price with great customer service,” concludes Li. “SSR Motorsport is excited to continue to expand our product offering to include the QJmotor brand… this is going to be big!”
