As eyes in the vintage world turn to Mid-Ohio for Vintage Motorcycle Days, event sponsor Iron Pony Motorsports Group is proud to announce the acquisition of Affordable Powersports LLC of Carroll, Ohio. With existing locations in Mansfield and Columbus, this marks the third location for Iron Pony.
“Our plans are to provide a smaller version of our Columbus store, including providing more accessories, parts and apparel at the best possible prices,” explains Sean Reifenberg, Director of Marketing for Irony Pony Motorsports. “It will be another milestone in Iron Pony’s plan to help grow the industry and develop solid multi-line powersports dealerships throughout the state of Ohio.”
This acquisition is a key step for the group as it brings 45+ years of experience and knowledge to benefit the Lancaster / Carroll area in southeastern Ohio. Adding to the excitement is the fact that Tammy Jones, Vice President and Co-owner of Iron Pony Motorsports, is originally from the area and her mother still resides there. This purchase is a special homecoming for Jones and her family.
Affordable Powersports launched in 2019. All existing staff have been offered positions with Pony Powersports Group. “Look for major upgrades to this location in the near future,” hints Reifenberg.
