Electric Bike Action Magazine is now eBikes.org! Stay tuned as we transition the website and social media to our new home while ramping up new and engaging content for the e-bike community. With its stated mission “to educate the world about electric bikes and to keep riders informed throughout their journeys, whether they are buying an e-bike for the first time or looking for helpful tips on how to keep their old e-bike in good condition. We will always provide objective information about the e-bikes we review.”
Co-Founder Robb Dorr is a massive cycling enthusiast who has clocked in more than 20 years of non-motorized cycling experience, including mountain, road, and gravel riding, as well as triathlons. He grew up cycling with his dad in the early 90s and picked the hobby back up in the early 2000s. Robb helped start eBikes.org to lower the barrier of entry to cycling and reduce the intimidation people sometimes experience when getting into the cycling world. His goal is to make it easier for everyone to understand the ins and outs of e-cycling.
The roster of industry experts will be familiar to readers of Hi-Torque’s old Electric Bike Action magazine, including former test editor Alex Boyce, managing editor Toby Hill and editor Tony Donaldson, looks like the gang's all here (with the possible exception of former Editorial Director Zapata Espinoza who launched Zap Bike Media awhile back). “We dream of a future where e-bikes are a common sight on every street, both in cities and the countryside, and where e-bikes are accessible and affordable to all,” Claims Dorr.
“We created eBikes.org to help consumers. We know there are a lot of electric bikes out there, and it can be tough to find the right one. We’re a team of e-bike experts, cycling enthusiasts, gearheads, and writers dedicated to educating people about electric bikes. We publish unbiased reviews, educational content, industry news, and product recommendations.”
