The Show must go on! The old showbiz phrase meaning that regardless of what happens, whatever show has been planned still has to be staged for the waiting patrons. Such is the case with the 2020 EnduroCross season. Pandemic enforced venue changes and all the hassles behind the racers were finally given a chance to step back into the limelight last weekend. The COVID craziness didn’t seem to change up defending champions Colton Haaker and Shelby Turner’s approach to the podium, though. Haaker had the field covered on both Friday and Saturday while Shelby Turner took her second win in a row in the Women’s class on Saturday.
After winning round one on Friday, Colton Haaker capped off a perfect weekend with a second overall win on Saturday night. The Rockstar Husqvarna rider had 3-1-1 moto scores. FMF KTM Factory Racing backed Trystan Hart finished second overall with 1-4-2 moto scores and Cody Webb rounded out the podium on his FactoryOne Sherco with 2-2-3 finishes. Speaking of show times, all six 2020 AMA EnduroCross rounds will be aired on Fox Sports Network (FS1). Round one will air on Saturday, November 7th at 9:00 AM EST with round two airing on the same day at 10:00 am EST.
