The holiday season is upon us offering an opportunity to celebrate the resilience and success that powersports Dealers have shown through another year of challenges. One thing that’s held steady is the resolve of Dealers to keep their businesses running, their staff employed, and their customers riding.
As we take a moment to reflect during this special season on the reasons we are in this business and the people we provide for, let’s be thankful for all we’ve accomplished together. We are truly fortunate and it’s time to share with family and friends as we take in the joys of the holidays.
Despite COVID-19, component shortages, shipping delays, tight inventories, loss of staff, and everything else we’ve come up against in the last two years, many dealers have still enjoyed some of their best years ever. They’ve adapted and thrived despite the hurdles they’ve faced.
Powersports dealers innovated, brought motorcycles to customer homes for test drives, and worked socially distanced deals outside in the lot or on video calls. Through it all, you’ve kept our industry moving forward while the MIC ensured our stores could stay open as essential businesses.
We’re about to enter a New Year with all the opportunities it brings. It starts with AIMExpo returning January 19-21 in Las Vegas. One of the many things we are thankful for this holiday season is that we finally have an association like NPDA to speak for our dealers and our industry! We can’t thank everyone enough for all they have done to get the NPDA up and running. Dealers, let’s make YOUR VOICE louder and stronger in 2022!
Of course, we can’t do this without the tremendous commitment of our board and our members. Please share the NPDA message and membership information with other dealers and encourage them to become part of the NPDA mission as members in 2022. We need EVERY dealer to join with us on this ride.
