Tucker Secures Jim Barker as New VP of Marketing

Dealers attending The Tucker Show were treated to the surprise announcement that Jim Barker was back. Just before introducing keynote speaker Chris Zane, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Greg Blackwell brought Barker up on stage to announce he was VP of Marketing as of February 1. “Being a part of the powersports industry is like having a large family,” says Barker. “I love the industry, our customers, brand partners and the Tucker Team. Accepting this challenge is a dream come true,” he adds. “Our goal is to help our customers better serve their customers by providing them the marketing assets and resources needed. To help them create an excellent customer experience, we must create one with them first. We're up for the challenge and eager to help them grow.” Prior to a brief hiatus Barker spent two years as Director of Sales Operations at Tucker. Before that, he spent a decade as an entrepreneur starting a digital marketing agency and technology firm. His track record as an entrepreneur helps him communicate and relate to dealers across the country.
